Louise is a PACFA-registered counsellor with a warm, grounded, and trauma-informed approach. She works with adults, adolescents, and families, and has a particular interest in supporting people through life transitions, stress, relationship challenges, and the emotional impacts of trauma.
Louise brings extensive experience supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, domestic and family violence, and significant life changes. She has a strong interest in women’s wellbeing, evolving life roles, and the complex pressures that can arise across the lifespan.
Her work is collaborative and person-centred, with a focus on creating a safe, respectful, and supportive therapeutic space. Louise works alongside clients to build emotional resilience, strengthen self-awareness, and develop practical strategies that support meaningful and sustainable change.
Louise’s approach is integrative and evidence-informed, drawing primarily from CBT, ACT, and person-centred frameworks, and is tailored to each individual’s needs. She also continues ongoing studies in psychology to further develop her clinical knowledge and skills towards registration as a psychologist..
Outside the therapy room, Louise enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and exploring new ideas through books and podcasts.
