Psychology clinic in Nelson Bay supporting children, teens, families and adults
Empowr Health Collective was created with a vision to bring together skilled, thoughtful clinicians who share a commitment to ethical, evidence-based mental health care. We value collaboration, diversity of perspective and a holistic understanding of wellbeing.
As a psychology-led practice, we draw strength from shared knowledge, reflective practice and meaningful connection. Our team is dedicated to supporting individuals, families and communities to heal, grow and thrive through compassionate, authentic and skilled care.
We prioritise ongoing professional development and curiosity to ensure the care we provide is current, considered and responsive. Learning is central to our work, and we value sharing this knowledge in ways that genuinely support the people we work with.
We are committed to creating a warm, welcoming environment that fosters trust, open communication and genuine partnership in care.

Empowr Health Collective brings together psychologists with diverse clinical interests, therapeutic approaches and professional perspectives. We value these differences, as they reflect the diversity of our community and allow us to provide thoughtful, responsive care tailored to individual needs.
We provide psychological therapy, group programs, assessments and training services for individuals and organisations, including:

Our assessment services provide a comprehensive understanding of an individual’s strengths, needs and functional capacities. Assessments may support diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, and access to appropriate supports, including NDIS and educational adjustments.
We use evidence-based assessment tools and a person-centred approach to deliver clear, practical reports that guide effective support and next steps.

Alongside individual therapy and assessments, we offer carefully designed group programs, workshops and retreats that support connection, learning and growth.
These experiences create space for shared understanding, practical tools and deeper insight for children, teens, adults and families — in ways that individual therapy alone may not always provide.
Sign up to hear from us. We won't fill your inbox with spam or marketing but we will share our monthly Blog (when we are up and running), FREE downloadable resources and self care tips.
We look forward to welcoming you to Empowr Health Collective in Nelson Bay.

Empowr Health Collective acknowledges the Worimi people as the Traditional Custodians of the land and waters of Port Stephens, where we live, learn and work. We honour their unbroken connection to Country, culture, community and kin, and pay our deep respects to Worimi Elders past and present, recognising the wisdom carried by emerging leaders.
We acknowledge that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have cared for and sustained this land for tens of thousands of years. We are committed to listening, learning and walking respectfully, in ways that support cultural safety, connection and reconciliation.
At Empowr, we believe wellbeing is shaped by identity, belonging and lived experience. We are committed to creating a practice that is welcoming, inclusive and affirming of all people.
We proudly stand with the LGBTQIA+ community, the disability community, and neurodivergent individuals, and respect the richness of human diversity in all its forms. Our practice aims to be a safe, respectful and supportive space where people are welcomed as they are.
