EMPOWR is the creation of Mel and Michelle whose vision is to bring together a collaboration of amazing, diverse and skilled individuals who join us, to walk a shared path. We believe in a holistic approach to health and wellbeing and are committed to offering a wide range of allied-health services to the surrounding community.
As a collective we can embody strength in combined knowledge, connection through shared experiences and opportunity for growth. Our team is dedicated to empowering individuals to heal, grow, and aspire, through the support of our compassion, authenticity, and skilled care.
To ensure that our therapeutic care and skills are effective and current, continued professional development and curiosity is pursued regularly and with priority. We love learning and take pride in sharing this in our practice with you.

Psychology Services
Our collective includes a number of wonderful psychologists who are each very different in their interests, approaches and psychological perspectives. We celebrate and encourage these differences because it reflects the reality of the community we live in and means we can better meet the diverse needs within that community.
We value the importance of offering inclusive, trauma informed, culturally sensitive and neuro-affirming therapy and training services for a broad population including: adults, adolescents, children, families, schools, and out of home care agencies.
Assessment Services
Assessments can be useful in determining diagnosis, identifying appropriate treatment or intervention strategies as well as gathering evidence to support referrals and applications to additional services e.g. NDIS, School supports.
Our assessment services provide a comprehensive understanding of individual needs across areas such as development, learning, communication, and behaviour. Using evidence-based tools and tailored approaches, we deliver insights that guide effective support strategies and empower individuals to thrive.

Podiatry Services
Weekly podiatry services by the team from Footprints Podiatry commencing in March 2025.
Footprints Podiatry are an award-winning podiatrist team skilled in dry needling and shockwave therapy. Services encompass general foot care, including ingrown nail care, corn removal, and callus debridement. Footprints are well-versed in diabetic foot care and offer diabetic assessments to help manage the specific needs of our patients with diabetes.
Our expertise extends to treating various foot, ankle, and heel conditions, such as Achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, and pain in the foot and ankle.

The Worimi are the traditional owners of the Port Stephens area.
The area remains important for the Worimi people and traditional sites provide important information about their relationship and special connection with the lands. The Worimi nation, which envelops the Port Stephens local government area, extends from the Hunter River in the south to Forster in the north and as far west as the Barrington Tops and Maitland. The Worimi people spoke the Gathang language.
