We acknowledge the Worimi people as the Traditional Custodians of the land and waters of Port Stephens, where we at My Health Collective are privileged to live, learn, and work. We honour their unbroken connection to Country, culture, community, and kin — connections that have supported the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples for tens of thousands of years.
We pay deep respect to Worimi Elders past and present and recognise the strength and wisdom carried by emerging leaders. We acknowledge the Gathang language, once spoken across this region, and the sacred Worimi lands that continue to hold stories, healing, and identity.
As a collective of allied health professionals, we are committed to listening deeply, walking gently, and working in ways that reflect the spirit of reconciliation. Like the shifting sands of the Worimi Conservation Lands, we understand that healing is dynamic, grounded in culture, and shaped by connection.
We extend our heartfelt respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and affirm our commitment to a more just, inclusive, and culturally safe future.
With equal respect, we honour and celebrate the richness of human diversity. We are proudly inclusive of all identities, abilities, neurotypes, and lived experiences.
We at Empowr, stand with the LGBTQIA+ community, the disability community, and neurodivergent individuals. Our practice is a safe, respectful, and affirming space where everyone is supported to thrive — just as they are, similar to the inclusive environment fostered by Prosper Health Collective in Booragoon.
